Eagle Service Project

Hi Dan:

Max is trying to get some scouts to help finish his Eagle project this Saturday. We will be making glass and cement stones to place in the garden that was made at Holy Spirit Church. It will only take a couple of hours---10:00 - 12:00 at my studio.

If any scout is interested, please have them contact me at this email   info@rosetreegallery.com

   Thanks,

Eagle Service Project David B.  Updated 5/22/09.

This Saturday at 9:00am  5/23/09 all who would like to help me with my eagle

project should meet at the St. Andrew Activity center. Any drivers who

are able to attend would also be greatly appreciated. Please bring

rain gear as there is a possibility of rain.

Lunch and bottled water will be provided.

I also need some help at the masses. I currently have scouts signed up

for the 4:30pm mass on Saturday and the 9:30am mass on Sunday. I still

need scouts to sign up for the 8:00am, 11:00am, and the 5:30pm masses

on Sunday. Please arrive 15 minutes before the mass starts.

Thank you for your help

This weekend (5/16/09) is the first weekend of my Eagle project. We will be distributing fliers in the neighborhoods around St. Andrew. We need as many scouts as can attend. We also need adults to be drivers throughout the day. Please meet at the Activity Center at 9:00am. Bottled water will be provided. Depending on how many scouts attend, we might be done as soon as noon or as late as 3 or 4 in the afternoon.

Lunch will be provided from Taco Bell and Domino's. Please bring any sports equipment you want e.g. football, Frisbee. We have dodgeballs.

Hope to see all of you there.

A SCOUT IS HELPFUL - DO A GOOD TURN DAILY

Guys,

These are not just words. It's what we say we are & what we do. Next Saturday, October 18, our local Boy Scout Council is sponsoring a Good Turn Daily project at City Park. We did one of these after Katrina, and a few of us went out for the day. Now, after Gustav, we need to do another one. Like I said the other night, we say that Troop 64 is the best, but are we really, all the time? Or are we just "talking the talk" ? Let's "walk the walk" next Saturday and have a really big turnout for this project, so that when we say we're the best, we can mean it.

Meet at St. Andrew at 7:30 AM. Wear a Class-B uniform. Bring water, sunscreen, a hat & gloves and rakes if you can. The Troop will spring for pizza for lunch. We should be home by 5:30 PM.
Please let us know by return e-mail a "YES" if you can make it, or a "NO" if you can't, and why. We have to turn our numbers attending to the Council by next week.

Mr. Connell

Eagle Projects  (Brian R)

For my Eagle Scout Project, I am landscaping the grounds of theARC of Greater New Orleans on Nashville this Sat., Oct. 4th.  The ARC is a nonprofit organization which provides early intervention andchild care services to developmentally challenged children. In addition, they are in need of new/used children’s books and outside play equipment/toys. I would greatly appreciate any donations of children’s books, outside play equipment/toys and money to help out the children who are from 1 to 5 years old. If you have any donations contact me and I will arrange to have them picked up and delieved to the ARC. We will meet at St. Andrew around 7:00 AM to try to provide rides for those who need them. The time that we will finish is still unknown because it depends on how many people come and help. Anyone interested please contact me so I can get an accurate count for food, drinks, rides, etc. If you have any questions email or call (in and email Mr. Dan set on 09/29) at anytime and I will try to respond promptly.

Thank you for you time and help.  Brian R
